I have been an entrepreneur my whole life. My journey to Fashion Tech started with me leaving North Carolina to come to New York City where I wanted to grow my online business. I started working at CLM management.
My job was to organize the fashion stylists' portfolios. One day out of boredom I asked to be on set and that is when everything changed…
While on set one day, I met a woman named Regina Chan who was an editorial stylist. She was one of the hardest working women I’ve ever met. She informed me that she couldn’t pay me much but she would teach me everything about the business and she did. I went from 3rd to 2nd to 1st assistant on Vogue subsidiary sets, video sets, and frequented Steiner Studios. The pinnacle of my career at the time was working under Brandon Maxwell’s assistant during the Lady Gaga ArtPop era.
From my experience, I realized many talented stylists were responsible for massive shifts in trends and yet, had no way to directly monetize their influence. While the politics of editorial styling were foreign to me, the opportunity to create something amazing for stylists lingered.
That was 10 years ago. “Looks” is a full circle moment. I always wondered how I would make it all make sense and here we are.

Our goal is to first onboard the most influential people in fashion, and we don’t consider following or clout but natural style. for us, we are after the true creators, people who live eat and breathe style. People who are often stopped and asked “ Where did you get that?” or maybe you’re stopped and complimented, regardless we want you. All sizes, all shapes and all races of fly are welcome on our platform.
